A bride in an Idaho wilderness has been given a perfect day with a little help from a magic wand and a few simple instructions from her groom.
The bride, who will be known as “Tina,” said she and her husband, David, spent a couple of hours together at their home on Friday, but that it wasn’t enough to celebrate their wedding.
They didn’t even get a photo-op with the groom.
“He came back, and he was like, ‘I just had a big party, and I was ready to go to sleep,'” Tina said.
Tina’s wedding day was special because her husband wanted to get out of town to attend a wedding reception, so she and David planned to take a day trip down to the Idaho wilderness to catch some rays.
“We had some camping out there, and we took a day hike, and that was a really big day, and it was really nice, and my husband was just really happy that I was able to get away and enjoy that time,” Tina said in an interview with The Hill.
But the couple said that they were never able to take their picture with the bride and groom because the bride’s husband had some other business to attend to.
After a day of fun and games, the couple decided to take an even longer day at the cabin, so they decided to go on a camping trip to the nearby lake.
After hiking for several hours through the dense forest, the pair found a nice spot to sleep.
“The sun was just shining, and there were just a lot of leaves, and everything was just so warm,” Tina explained.
“And we didn’t feel any kind of pressure.”
Tina and David then made their way back to their home, where they were able to enjoy a night out with friends.
“It was just amazing to just enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the cabin and just chill out and just be with friends and just just enjoy that moment,” Tina told The Hill, adding that she was thankful for the little help her husband provided.
The couple said they plan to keep doing things like taking pictures with the guests and the groom on a regular basis, and will also continue to go hiking and camping.
“I think the most amazing thing is that it really just felt like a moment,” David told The Wall.
“I was just looking at my wife and just thinking, ‘Wow, she’s beautiful, I can’t believe I have her, I have a beautiful wife.'”
