Papermaking is a hobby I’m always fascinated by, but my papermaking skills are a bit rusty.
That’s why I recently started learning how to use paper for making wedding paper.
After some experimentation, I discovered the best way to make wedding paper is to buy cheap paper.
Here’s what I learned.
How to make paper from scratch This post is about how to make a wedding paper that looks like it was made by a robot.
The tutorial will help you start using your printer, and will give you a basic understanding of how to cut a square, cut a triangle, and use a plane to create a perfect wedding paper template.
If you’re interested in making your own wedding paper, check out this post for the basics.
Here are the parts you’ll need: 1×7 cardstock (you can use any quality cardstock, but you’ll probably want to try a quality card stock like the one pictured here.)
A sharpie marker.
(If you’re using a ruler, you’ll want to keep it in a small box with the template in the box, because you’ll likely be cutting through the paper with the ruler.)
A ruler and scissors.
A piece of paper (this will probably look a little like this.)
You’ll also need a ruler for measuring how long you want your template to be.
A small piece of cardboard.
A glue stick.
A roll of parchment paper.
You can use this template to make whatever paper you want.
First, cut your cardstock to the size of the template.
Cut the template out of your card stock.
You’ll need to cut your template in half to make the squares you’ll cut out of it.
You will then need to trim the squares so they’re about the same width as the template and make sure they’re square.
You could also use a ruler to make sure you’re cutting squares the same size as the templates.
If your template has been cut a few times, you can just make another cut on the next round.
Cut out your triangles, using a sharpie to mark the intersections.
Mark the intersections on each triangle.
Cut them into squares.
You want each square to be at least 3.5 inches wide and 1 inch tall.
Now, start cutting out the templates, with the sharpie mark and a ruler.
This is a good time to make cuts on the template, since the templates will be smaller on the paper than they are on your printer.
I recommend leaving 1.5 centimeters of space between the edges of the templates on each side.
You don’t want your paper to stick out too far when you’re doing this.
You should only use 1.75 centimeters between each template, or 1.25 inches between each square.
Cut each template into 2.5 pieces.
You may also want to leave some space between each piece.
Mark each piece of the paper.
I cut this template out with a sharpened ruler, and it’s about 4.5 by 4.25 centimeters.
Cut a template to fit into the cardboard box.
This template has a rectangle on each end, so you can easily cut the square out of the box.
Cut your paper template to the desired size.
I used the template as a template, and then I cut the paper from the cardboard, just to make it easier to use later.
I did the opposite for the triangle, so that it would fit in the template just fine.
Cut squares on your paper.
For the triangle piece, I cut it out using a piece of 3.75-inch cardboard, which is exactly 3.25 by 3.125 inches.
If it’s a square that you want to make, you should cut the rectangle and cut off all the ends.
For each square, mark the intersection of the triangles with the cardboard template.
Mark it with a ruler and cut out the triangles.
Cut an opening in the cardboard.
Make sure that it’s at least 0.5 inch deep, and that it doesn’t cross the paper template’s edge.
For a circle, cut out a circle of about 3.875 by 3 inches, about 1.375 inches from the top edge.
Cut some strips of paper.
(You could use a pencil or your fingers, or you can use the template.)
Mark the triangle edges with a pencil, and cut a strip of paper about the size and shape of the triangle.
You might want to use a thin piece of parchment, or even paper towels, so it doesn to show off your work.
Mark an opening for the template to pass through.
Cut strips of parchment for each triangle piece.
I use parchment because it’s cheap and has a long shelf life.
You do not want to tear the parchment strips.
Use a ruler if you need to mark out a specific part of your template.
I like to mark it using a Sharpie marker, since I know how it will look when it’s printed.
I usually make my templates at the same time as
